Wow, I’m having a baby ~ Maternity Photography
We just love pregnant mums! Our pregnancy photography is designed to capture you at one of the most beautiful points in your life. After a pre-session consultation, we spend up to one hour with you celebrating and capturing your beautiful belly and moods as a mum-to-be.
We prefer to photograph our pregnant mums in the 7th or 8th months of their pregnancy journey as they have the lovely belly heralding the imminent birth (but it’s not too close to the actual due date!). The session is held at our studio based at Albany Creek. For mums to look their best, we can arrange beautiful, natural makeup to be done at the studio just before the photo shoot begins, simply ask us when booking. All photos are lightly retouched and edited, then we sit down and watch them together in the comfort of our studio. Now, you have to choose! But don’t worry, we allow plenty of time and advice to make sure you end up with the best memory of these special moments.
Welcome little one ~ Newborn Photography
In the comfort of your home, we can spend up to three hours with your newborn darling – if possible, before they are ten days into their new journey of life. Awake or asleep, we capture the unique expressions and exquisite little features of this precious time.
If you would like photos with siblings and your newborn we advise you have another adult, a friend or grandparent present so they can mind the other children once the newborn session begins.
Images are ordered a la carte at your custom portrait design and ordering appointment.
Our journey: A year in the life of...
Perfect for newborns and toddlers, this package allows three different portrait sessions to celebrate your journey of life, either in studio or on location, within a twelve-month period.
Choose from our studio, your home, or a different location, or combine all three. The possibilities are endless, but here’s a few suggestions of how to use the sessions:
- Look, I'm crawling! (6 months old); Walking at my first birthday party (1 year old); Christening with family and friends (16 months old)
- Fingerpainting is fun (30 months); Third birthday party (3 years old); Beach fun with Nana, Pop and my cousins (3 and a half years old)
- (For families with older children): Studio portrait session with mum and dad; Home portrait session with grandparents; Outdoor session with family pets and extended family

The journey of life is fun, frantic and fast! Capture this year before it flies past, with one of our custom-designed family portrait sessions.
As natural light photographers we hold our family sessions in the great outdoors choosing a location according to your preferences and proximity. With regard to what to wear, simple seems to work best. Solid colours and denim look great on adults, and for little children bright colours or little dresses are always gorgeous. Try to avoid clothes with stripes or logos as they can be distracting in photographs.
For mum’s to look their best, we can arrange beautiful, natural makeup to be done on location just before the photo shoot begins, simply ask us when booking.

Every wedding is a unique occassion and as such, we tailor our photography to suit your special day. Please contact us directly with your enquiries by phone or by email.

Q: What happens next?
Within 10 days after your shoot, we will contact you to make a suitable time to come in and view your images. We advise to allow approximately 1-2 hours for the viewing ~ it can be very hard deciding.
Before you do come in, have a think about what you would like to do with your images. Would you like to put a few canvases or framed prints on the wall? An album to display a collection of images? Or maybe some loose prints to display in frames on the buffet? The choice is completely yours. We will go through your options before the shoot, and again at the viewing.
Q: How soon after I place my order will I receive my photos?
The following are the turnaround times for the most commonly ordered products:
Individual Prints: 14 days
Framed Prints: 4 weeks
Canvases: 4 weeks
Albums: 8 weeks
