Wow, I’m having a baby ~ Pregnancy Photography

We just love pregnant mums! Our maternity photography is designed to capture you at one of the most beautiful points in your life.  We spend up to one hour with you celebrating and capturing your beautiful belly and moods as a mum-to-be.  We have all the beautiful wraps to drape you in so you don't have to worry about bringing in your waredrobe.

We prefer to photograph our pregnant mums late in their 7th month of their pregnancy journey as they have the lovely belly heralding the imminent birth (but it’s not too close to the actual due date!).  All photos are lightly retouched and edited, then we invite you back in to sit down and watch them together in the comfort of our studio.

Welcome little one ~ Newborn Photography

For your newborn photography session we can spend up to two hours to capture the unique expressions and exquisite little features of your new little baby.   All our newborn baby photography you see on our website is taken within 10 days of birth.  We have found after this 10 day period they start to wake up and explore the world around them and it's just a little more difficult getting them into that beautiful relaxed sleepy state.  We also offer the service of coming to your own home for this session for a $30 fee.  (This fee is waived if you have a Maternity session with us as well). (extra fees apply outside the Brisbane area).

If you would like photos with siblings and your newborn we advise you have another adult, a friend or grandparent present so they can mind the other children once the newborn session begins.

Big Smiles ~ 4 Month Session

Your growing bub will be giving gorgeous big smiles that will cause your heart to melt and make those long, long nights suddenly all worthwhile.  We hold your session and have a few secrets to ensuring we capture those gorgeous smiles!!

Personality Plus ~ 8 Month Session

This is such a wonderful age! Tremendously full of personality, loving smiles and hugs are abundant.  Bub should be sitting (or nearly there) by now, this makes for some great shots.  We hold these sessions in the great outdoors and we know quite a few lovely spots within the Brisbane area. 

On The Run ~ 14 Month Session

And they're off!!  Their gorgeous little legs are working and there is a whole new world out there to explore!  It's amazing the difference one year can make.  The rewards from this session are immense.  Laughter, giggles and personality plus is shining through your baby now.  We hold these sessions outdoors as our little studio is just not big enough for a one year old to run and run! :-)

The family that plays together ~ Family Session

The journey of life is fun, frantic and fast! Capture this year before it flies past, with one of our custom-designed family portrait sessions.

As natural light photographers we hold our family sessions in the great outdoors choosing a location according to your preferences and proximity. With regard to what to wear, simple seems to work best.  Solid colours and denim look great on adults, and for little children bright colours or little dresses are always gorgeous.  Try to avoid clothes with stripes or logos as they can be distracting in photographs. 

 Q: What happens after our session?

At your photo session we will make a suitable time for you both to come in and view your images. We advise to allow approximately 1-2 hours for the viewing ~ it can be very hard deciding.   All orders do need to be made at this session.

Before you do come in, have a think about what you would like to do with your images. Would you like to put a few canvases or framed prints on the wall? An album to display a collection of images? The choice is completely yours.  We will go through your options before the shoot, and again at the viewing.
