Tonight Jenelle and I want to share with you a very special wedding we were involved in recently.  My wonderful friends Cath and Cam tied the knot on the 22nd October and they asked Jenelle to capture their day for them!  Plus…. I was lucky enough to be one of Caths bridesmaids!!  The day was spectacular, everything went to according to plan!  There were lots of laughs, a few tears, and a few drinkies as well :-).

On one of Jenelle’s recent sessions she met a lovely couple and their gorgeous little man Ethan.  The photos of this session were just stunning, especially the family portraits.  We are asked quite often if we do baby photos and photos with parents and the answer is definitely ‘yes yes yes’.  This is such a beautiful time when your baby is so tiny to capture them curled up in your arms.

Day 6 of our Fathers Day Week Celebrations!  Hope everyone has bought their Dads, Pops, Grandads some lovely goodies to show them how much we appreciate and love them.

Linda and I are really, really, REALLY excited about our new project. We  are getting warm fuzzies just organizing it all, and  can hardly wait to launch our NEW book…titled…..drum roll please…..

” OUR NEWBIES ~ NEWBORNS OF BRISBANE”

and our warm fuzzies are coming about as we have decided to donate all session fees for families wishing to be in the book plus all proceeds of the book itself to Ovarian Cancer Australia.

Way back in February was Ovarian Cancer Awareness month.  We saw on the Today show the absolutely heartbreaking statistics this horrid disease has.  Incredibly 1200 Women will be diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer  in the upcoming year…and 800 of these women will lose their battle with this disease. It is a terrible cancer, whereby nearly 75% of women newly diagnosed, already  have the cancer in an advanced state.  Ovarian Cancer Australia needs to let every woman in Australia be aware of the symptoms so they can have themselves checked out early. Early diagnosis apparantly goes along way to defeating this cancer. As always, to get this vital message out to Australian women, funds are needed.

BE A PART OF OUR BOOK!!  We launched our project at the recent Pregnancy, Babies and Parent Expo in Brisbane and already we have 20 families booked in to participate. For only 2 weeks this is such a fantastic response by Brisbane Mums and Dads-to-be ~ so Thank You!  Our goal is to have 50 bubs in our book so we need more families!  If you are or know anyone who is due to have a bub before November, give us a call!

Our session fee is normally $110, but for this project we have reduced it to only $60, and this is to be donated directly to Ovarian Cancer Australia. Once the book is published, all proceeds of the book will be donated to Ovarian Cancer Australia.
